Code, line, status, and finish
Dated Hama PDFs support current Midi H-codes, official English names, and special-finish families. The separate Mini and Maxi pages apply their own line-specific manufacturer lists.
Midi 5 mm reference · official catalog status · verified August 31, 2026
Search 88 current Hama Midi colours by H-code or English colour name, then narrow the 5 mm catalog by finish and status. Mini and Maxi now have dedicated model pages, so this primary Hama bead colour chart no longer asks a 2.5 mm or 10 mm project to share its working view with Midi.

01 · Manufacturer catalog
Dated Hama PDFs support current Midi H-codes, official English names, and special-finish families. The separate Mini and Maxi pages apply their own line-specific manufacturer lists.
02 · Community reference
Swatches come from a fixed, checksummed beadcolors snapshot — useful for identifying a shade, never a claim of Hama calibration or exact reproduction.
03 · Missing stays missing
With no reliable community value the Hama bead colour chart says “No RGB.” A blank beats a confident-looking swatch pulled from a photograph.
Calculated screen lookup
Enter a HEX colour to rank the nearest current solid Hama references. Pick a product line first when the bead size is already decided — Midi, Mini and Maxi are different physical products, and this Hama bead colour chart calculation uses community screen RGB and CIEDE2000. It is a shortlist for visual checking, not an official Hama measurement or a promise that physical beads will match a display.

5 mm · the Hama default size · age 5+
Midi is the broadest of the three lines and the size most patterns and pegboards assume when they say nothing else — for most projects the Hama bead colour chart starts here. Current colours are the default view; Archive keeps older codes readable for an existing pattern, and Chart pending isolates official-shop variants whose name and finish have not reached the printed colour PDF.

2.5 mm · age 10+ · dedicated Mini pegboards
Mini is the detail-size line at 2.5 mm. Its colour count comes from the official chart's own availability markers rather than from copying the Midi list, and it needs a board sold explicitly for Hama Mini — a shared H-code says nothing about which diameter you are holding.

10 mm · age 3+ · Maxi pegboards
Maxi is the 10 mm line for the youngest makers, with its own manufacturer palette — the smallest section of the Hama bead colour chart by some distance. Because it is much smaller than the other two, so a colour that matches closely in Midi may have no near equivalent here — the screen matcher above reports the distance per line for exactly that reason.

Lookup method
Begin with the H-code printed on the bag or pattern legend. Type the complete code, such as H75, or enter only 75. Name search helps when a seller lists “Light Nougat” without the number; the older community name “Tan” remains an alias, but the displayed label follows Hama’s current English palette. Then check the section for your bead size — a shared code can be current in one line and absent from another, which is the single most common way this Hama bead colour chart gets misread.
Trust the printed H-code and size over a phone display. Lighting, monitor profile, finish, and production batch all move the result, so compare physical beads whenever a close match matters and treat every swatch in this Hama bead colour chart as navigation rather than proof.
Finish is part of identity
Transparency, fluorescence, glow, metallic reflection, and pearl sheen change with light or angle. The Hama bead colour chart keeps their official finish labels but excludes them from flat-RGB ranking.
Status has a date
Archive rows remain searchable for old patterns and loose bags. H123–H125 are different: the official Midi shop lists them, but current PDFs lack confirmed names and finishes. The Hama bead colour chart marks them pending instead of guessing.
Print the live view
Every size section above has its own print button. What comes out is the view you filtered, carrying the catalog date — not a separate file that starts going stale the moment Hama revises a colour.

Questions before ordering
The official charts verified on August 31, 2026 list 88 current Midi colours, 79 current Mini colours, and 31 current Maxi colours. Those totals describe each product line, not 198 unique H-codes. Many codes are shared across sizes. The Hama bead colour chart also keeps seven older Midi records, two older Mini records, and three shop-listed Midi variants in clearly separated archive or chart-pending views.Official Hama colour chart pageOfficial numbered Mini/Midi chart
No. Hama’s dated charts establish the code, name, product-line listing, and finish family. The HEX and RGB swatches are browsing references from a pinned, MIT-licensed community dataset. They are not manufacturer measurements and should not override the code printed on a bag. For a shade without a reliable community value, the chart shows “No RGB” instead of sampling a product photograph.Pinned community data snapshot
Current means the H-code appears in the official 2026 chart for the selected bead size. Archive means the code exists in the community record but does not appear in that current official line chart; this is evidence of historical use, not a claim that every shop has stopped selling old stock. Chart pending is narrower: the official Midi shop lists variants 207-123 through 207-125, but the current colour charts do not yet confirm their names or finishes.Check the current official charts
Each special finish keeps its official family label and receives a visual overlay so it is not mistaken for an ordinary solid. A flat monitor colour cannot reproduce transparency, fluorescence, stored-light glow, metallic reflection, or a pearl sheen. The H-code and finish label are the reliable lookup fields; the on-screen swatch remains a rough recognition aid.See Hama’s finish groups
No. Hama and Perler use different catalogs, materials, names, and code systems. Similar-looking screen values are useful for generating a candidate substitute, but they are not proof of a physical match. This Hama bead colour chart stays focused on trusted catalog identity. A Hama-to-Perler tool should expose its color-distance basis, finish exclusions, and confidence before it is used for purchasing or pattern conversion. Browse the separate Perler chart.
Official PDF and shop URLs are stored with a verification date. The community CSV files are pinned to an exact upstream commit and SHA-256 checksum. Automated tests assert the current, archived, and pending totals for all three product lines, check special-finish counts, and require missing screen values to remain null. A source change that breaks those facts fails the data build instead of silently changing the public chart.Official Hama source pageCommunity dataset license and history
Hama describes Mini as its smallest format for detailed work and Maxi as a larger format for younger children and easier handling; Midi is the general-purpose middle size.
