Beadary (“the Site”) is an independent project published at https://beadary.com. These Terms govern your use of the Site. By using it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.

About the service

Beadary publishes fuse bead color charts for Perler, Hama, Artkal and Diamond Dotz, a free bead pattern maker, and an Artkal ↔ Perler color converter. Everything is free. No account is required, nothing is sold on the Site, there is no user gallery or uploaded content, and the tools run in your browser — images you open in the pattern maker are processed locally and are not uploaded to or stored by Beadary.

The Site is offered on a best-effort basis. Pages, tools and data may change or be withdrawn at any time, and no uptime is guaranteed.

Color data: what it does and does not promise

This is the most important limit on the service, so it is stated plainly rather than buried.

Color values on the Site are references, not guarantees of physical appearance. A screen emits light while a bead reflects it, and lighting, production batch, finish and ironing all shift the result. Cross-brand suggestions are calculated color-distance rankings — they are candidates to verify, never a claim that two physical beads are interchangeable.

Codes, names and catalog statuses are recorded from manufacturer sources with a verification date, and those sources sometimes disagree with each other. A code printed on the package you are holding outranks anything on this Site. Purchasing decisions are yours; verify the product line and code before buying, and test-fuse a sample before committing to a large piece.

Acceptable use

You may browse the Site, use its tools, and print or save charts for your own crafting and teaching use. You may not:

• scrape or bulk-download the Site or its data files by automated means;
• redistribute the compiled color data as your own dataset or product;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its infrastructure;
• use the Site in a way that breaks applicable law.

Intellectual property

Site text, layout, code and the compiled palette data are the work of the Beadary project. Product codes, color names, brand names and trademarks belong to their respective manufacturers and are used on the Site only to identify the products being described. Beadary is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Perler, Hama, Artkal, Diamond Dotz, DMC, MARD, or any other manufacturer named on the Site.

Patterns you create with the pattern maker are yours. Beadary claims no rights over images you supply or the patterns generated from them, and does not receive them.

Third-party services

The Site runs on Cloudflare (Workers for hosting, R2 for static palette data) and uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies; the Privacy Policy lists what each one does and what it receives. Screen colour values are derived from the open-source beadcolors dataset under the MIT licence.

There is no advertising network, no account provider and no payment processor involved in the Site.

Notices, corrections and takedowns

Beadary hosts no user-submitted content, so there is nothing on the Site that a third party uploaded. What the Site does contain is manufacturer product codes, colour names and catalog references used to identify products, plus original text and compiled data.

If you believe material on the Site infringes your rights, or if a code, name, count or status is wrong, email contact@beadary.com with the URL and what specifically is at issue. Factual corrections backed by a source are applied to the underlying palette data and change that chart’s verification date. Rights-holder requests are handled directly and promptly — there is no queue and no form.

Disclaimer of warranties and liability

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Beadary does not warrant that the color data is complete, current, or free of error.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beadary is not liable for any loss arising from use of the Site — including wasted materials, a mismatched or discontinued bead color, or a pattern that does not fuse as expected. Your remedy if the Site is not useful to you is to stop using it.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated. The effective date above changes when they do, and the current version is always the one published on this page.
